Mediocre attempt: Charlotte

IMG_0764

As I said in the previous post, now that I had ladyfingers, I had to make a Charlotte.

It is a traditional dessert made with a border of ladyfingers, a filling of Bavarian cream (I made a vanilla one) and fresh fruits on top (or nothing).

Lesson learnt again because before I had not learnt it well before: frozen fruits suck! Never use them with a  decorating intention on cakes. Buy fresh ones!
