Chocolate-chip cookies

Ok, another not so encouraging experiment.

Chocolate chip cookies - First try

I mean, these chocolate chip cookies were good, but not really good-looking. When I think about American cookies, I have in mind the Pepperidge Farm ones:

Pepperidge farm cookies

which are thicker, crunchier… in short, much better.

The point with biscuits is that they are sooo rich in butter, that they melt and spread a lot when they are in the oven!

Only when you make biscuits from scratch, can you understand why you should start eating something else! 😛 The percentage of butter in the dough is massive!
