Last Sunday, 18 teams from all over the world<\/strong> met in Lyon<\/strong>, France, for the Pastry World Cup<\/strong>, probably the most important competition in the field. Becoming a world champion is MASSIVE: it is a unique opportunity to become worldwide known (and gives you the right to add “Pastry World Champion<\/strong>” after your name!). \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

The new 2013 World Champion is France<\/strong> (oh really? How original!), with team formed by Quentin Bailly, Mathieu Blandin et Joffrey Lafontaine; silver medal for Japan and bronze for Italy<\/strong> (yay!). I really liked the “motors<\/strong>” theme of the French team, but every team was very creative.<\/p>\n
