And for the second time <strong>I failed<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>I mean, I tried to <strong>follow the recipe<\/strong> and up until the final stage, I made some <strong>small round brioches<\/strong> and the dough looked perfect&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.roadtopastry.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_0637.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-649\" alt=\"Brioche attempt\" src=\"http:\/\/www.roadtopastry.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_0637.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.roadtopastry.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_0637.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.roadtopastry.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_0637-300x199.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And even after they came out of the oven they were sort of ok&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.roadtopastry.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_0642.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-650\" alt=\"Brioche attempt\" src=\"http:\/\/www.roadtopastry.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_0642.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.roadtopastry.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_0642.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.roadtopastry.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_0642-300x199.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>But I thought I was eating <strong>pure yeast<\/strong>! They were disgusting! \ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n<p>Once again, I have no idea what went wrong&#8230; I&#8217;ve read that if you need to make a brioche in a relatively short time, it is better to use <strong>the &#8220;levain&#8221; method<\/strong> (I think it is called <strong>sourdough starter<\/strong> in English).<\/p>\n<p>I will try next time!
