After all my excitement due to my great pastry book, I decided to try most recipes in the proposed order.<\/p>\n
Quick breads<\/strong> are the easiest things you can make in pastry and “Country biscuits” <\/strong> was the first recipe in that chapter. The results were not encouraging<\/strong> at all! \ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n Ok, I had no idea what country biscuits were<\/strong> and I had never eaten one, but I was expecting my biscuits to be similar to scones, but they were very hard and not really tasty.<\/p>\n Ok, I’m not going to try country biscuits again… The next recipe is muffins, maybe I’ll have more luck with them!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Total failure.
